Property Manager/ Lafayette Division

Jalana Rene Blanchard has been a dedicated Property Manager with SLA Property Management since 2024, bringing valuable experience in banking, tenant relations, and lease administration. She has a proven track record of increasing occupancy rates, reducing operational costs, and enhancing tenant satisfaction.

With over a decade in the banking industry, Jalana developed strong organizational skills, deep knowledge of regulations and compliance, and a sharp eye for solving complex problems.

Outside of property management, Jalana is a proud mother to three beautiful children — Channing, Gabrielle, and Navi. She enjoys spending quality time with them and actively participates in their extracurricular activities, including track and dance. Jalana is also passionate about giving back and volunteers with the Autism Society.

Property Manager / Baton Rouge Division

Ann Marie Fowler joined SLA Property Management in 2023 and currently serves the Baton Rouge Division. She brings expertise in marketing and leasing, tenant relations, rent collection, financial oversight, property maintenance, and inspections, ensuring smooth and efficient property management for both owners and residents.

Ann Marie began her career in 1997 as a legal secretary at a general practice law firm in Alexandria, LA, where she provided administrative and legal support across various practice areas.

Ann Marie is a proud Mother to two wonderful sons- Tyler, an Air Force Veteran who finished his service time in Space Force and Hunter currently serving as an Army Warrant Officer. She is also a proud mother-in-law to Hannah.

She also spent several years volunteering with the Family Readiness Group (FRG), a vital support network for military families. Through this role, she helped foster communication, provide resources, and support the well-being of families during deployment cycles.

Owner / Asset Manager

Coby Courtois brings nearly two decades of leadership experience from his time as a full-time manager with New York Life, a Fortune 100 company, where he served over 19 years from 2002 to 2021. During his tenure, he oversaw a team of eight employees and supported over 120 financial advisors across the Southern U.S., including Birmingham, AL; Orlando, FL; Shreveport and Baton Rouge, LA.

Coby began his entrepreneurial journey in 2017, transitioning fully into real estate in late 2021. Since then, he and his business partner, Cye Courtois, have built an impressive real estate portfolio that includes 59 single-family homes and four apartment complexes — totaling 133 units and a combined 192 doors under management.

Coby specializes in operations, with a focus on team development, underwriting, and finance. His commitment to excellence and strategic growth continues to drive the success of SLA Property Management.
